Police DAV Public School held a function to celebrate Independence Day today.

To mark this day, a special assembly was conducted by Zinnia House in which Sehajpreet of Class V shared a speech regarding the importance of the day. Other students of classes III to V recited patriotic poems. Students of Class V also sang a beautiful song, stressing on the value of unity.

Student of all classes presented different art forms. A dance was presented by the tiny tots to remind everyone of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.

Students of classes VIII, IX and X expressed their feelings through dance items, parade and by singing patriotic songs. Officiating Principal Sukhjit Kaur shared her views and motivated all the students to actively participate in extra-curricular programmes and activities. She urged everyone to remain determined in their work and achieve their goals with dedication.
