DC Kumar Amit said the state government was bearing the entire expenses of all trains from Patiala to various cities of the country.

He said the state government was also providing refreshment to the migrants going to their native state in trains. He said the administration had received funds, specially designated by the state government to be paid to the Railways for providing tickets to the registered passengers.

A health team also screened all migrants who were coming to the station to board the train. — TNS
