Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar today held a meeting with the district police officials to take the stock of security arrangements in view of ‘tankhah’ to be undertaken by Sukhbir Badal at Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara likely on December 7 and 8.

The DIG said keeping in mind the unfortunate incident of the attack on Sukhbir Badal at Darbar Sahib in Amritsar today, foolproof security arrangements should be made in the district.

SSP Ravjot Grewal and SP (Investigation) Rakesh Yadav were among officials who attended the meeting.

The DIG directed the officials to remain vigilant and to keep a close watch on the anti-social elements and maintain peace in Fatehgarh Sahib.

SSP Ravjot Grewal assured foolproof security arrangements will be made, besides maintaining a vigil on anti-social elements.
