The Centre for Distance and Online Education, Punjabi University, organised a special lecture on Cyber Security: Threats and Solutions. Speaker Williamjeet Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, suggested ways to safeguard our data by limiting unnecessary use of social accounts and putting least personal data online.

CDOE Director Prof Satyabir talked about the relevance of cyber security in today’s time.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
