National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) commenced its “Shahidi Jagriti” (Martyrdom awareness) Theatre campaign at Alipur Araian Government Middle School by staging Pandhi Nankanvi’s “Lakhi-Shah Vanjara” on the supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur and de-addiction “Youdh Nashian Virudh” initiative along with other value-based plays and musicals.

Socialites Gursewak Singh Naulakha, Dhanna Bhagat Birdh Ashram chairman Subhash Gupta, School Principal Anshu Singla and Padma Shri Pran Sabharwal inaugurated the mela and dedicated it to the 350th centenary martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur amid resonace of loud jaikaras.

Gursewak Singh Naulakha presented a cash award of Rs 5,000 to Pran Sabharwal in appreciation of their initiative for commencing the campaign.
