The National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) in co-operation with North Zone Cultural Centre and Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust observed 264th Natak Mela in dedication of a young theatre artist Sanket Handa who died untimely in a fatal accident last month.

The three-hour festival organised by duo Pran Sabharwal and Sunita Sabharwal at Baradari Garden Theatre complex included sensitising Punjabi plays aiming at activating the audiences against social evils like ‘Viksat Bharat’, Dr Harcharan Singh’s, ‘Kirat Da Satkar’ based on Guru Nanak’s teachings.

On this occasion, the admirers donated money towards deceased artist’s bereaved family fund.
