The disciplinary action against Jindal followed a recent incident where she publicly accused the police and local leaders of shielding a mobile repair shop owner in Tripuri.

Jindal also claimed that the shop owner had deleted sensitive data from her mobile phone, which she had said contained crucial party-related information.
