The District Task Force conducted inspections at various dhabas and shops to check for child labour. Officials of the task force said during these inspections, the team rescued three kids who were found engaged as child labour and presented them before the Child Welfare Committee.

District Child Protection Officer Shaina Kapoor stated the committee was currently scrutinising the documents of the rescued children. She said the process of rehabilitating them was underway, adding that they would soon be connected with various government schemes to aid their recovery and development.

The officer said the committee asked the police to take appropriate action against their employers. Additionally, the Education Department was urged to enrol the children in school.
