The minister’s visit took place two days after armed men bragged into Rajindra Hospital and assaulted a patient undergoing treatment. The city police have arrested two accused in this connection.

Confirming the arrest DSP (City) Satnam Singh said two accused were arrested while raids were on to arrest their accomplices.

The city police had also come under immense scrutiny over the lax law and order situation in the city after the armed men entered the hospital, assaulted the patient.
