Amidst reports of black-marketing and to ensure the uninterrupted availability of DAP fertiliser to farmers, Chief Agriculture Officer Jaswinder Singh, along with his team, conducted inspections at the establishments of fertiliser dealers across the district.

The stocks of four agro fertiliser dealers in Nabha and Rajpura were inspected.

Dr Jaswinder Singh has urged farmers to report any instance where a fertiliser dealer is charging higher than the set price or pressuring them to buy additional products. Such cases can be reported to the Agriculture Department for prompt action under the Fertilizer Control Order of 1985.

Farmers from various blocks can directly contact the following representatives to report any complaints regarding DAP fertilizer: Satish Kumar at 97589-00047 for Samana and Patran blocks, Avninder Singh Mann at 80547-04471 for Bhunerheri and Sanaur blocks, Jupinder Singh Gill at 97805-60004 for Nabha block, Gurmeet Singh at 97791-60950 for Patiala block, Japinder Singh at 79735-74542 for Rajpura block, and Anurag Attari at 97819-90390 for Ghanaur block.
