Fitness for me

Health is wealth;fitness is something I always keep up with.

On a daily basis

I am a morning person. I wake up between 5 and 6 am and begin the day with exercise. Running, treadmill, aerobics… I practice all during the first half of my day.

Dietary needs

Right on waking up, I have three glasses of water. For breakfast, I mostly have fresh fruits. Lunch includes dal, roti, sabzi and salad. Dinner is simple and mostly consists of one chapatti, dal or sabzi.

Can’t resist

While I try and keep up with a strict routine of workout and meals, the one thing that makes me falter is pizza. I simply can’t stop myself when I see one!

Sporty choice

During my school and college I’ve played badminton, and even now I often play the sport.

To be healthy

I think it is all about proper workout routine and a good diet. Along with that, a calm, stress-free mind aids good health.

Lockdown discovery

During this time I realised fitness is not an option, but a compulsion. One must be fit and Covid-19 has made it clear how important it is to have a good immune system.

Fitness mantra

Regular exercise and a balanced diet.

Life post lockdown

It has been all about work, work and more work. There have been days I’ve worked for over 18 hours, but I do not skip my work-out and make sure to have good homemade meals.

Cheat meals

Lots of pizzas and sometimes even pastas.But even when I am cheating, I make sure to share the portion so that I don’t consume all the calories alone!

Real inspiration

I love the way Kareena Kapoor has maintained herself. Her pregnancy is also so graceful. She sets many a goal for a lot of people.
