Rajvir Jawanda in ICU for fifth day: No improvement in neurological condition, say doctors

Medical teams from the Critical Care and Neurosciences departments at a private hospital in Mohali are closely monitoring him.
In an official statement, hospital authorities said, “His neurological status continues to be critical, with no significant clinical improvement observed. The overall prognosis remains guarded.”
The 35-year-old singer, who previously served as a police officer, was rushed to the hospital on September 27 after sustaining severe head and spinal injuries in a road accident. The incident occurred near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, during a biking trip with friends. Born in Jagraon, Jawanda is known for his popular contributions to Punjabi music.
Jawanda (35) was seriously injured in an accident in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district while going to Shimla on a motorcycle on Saturday.
The accident took place in the Baddi area when he lost control over the motorcycle, police had said earlier.
He was brought to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab, in an "extremely critical" condition on Saturday.
The singer sustained serious head and spine injuries in the road accident and was put on ventilator support, Fortis Hospital had said on Saturday.
