Nearly seven months after pro-Khalistani graffiti, slogans and flags appeared on the walls of Nehru Stadium in Faridkot — just days before Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was to hoist the National Flag there on Republic Day — the police have finally nominated one person as an accused in the case.

Resham Singh, who was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court in Faridkot on a production warrant from Ropar jail, has now been formally named in the FIR registered on January 23, 2025, under charges related to promoting secessionist propaganda.
