A city-1 police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramesh Chander recovered 1,300 Pregabalin capsules. The police said the sale of the capsules was banned by the District Magistrate. The police said they seized the banned capsules from the suspect in Ajit Singh Nagar, near the new grain market. A case was registered against Sonu of Seed Farm Colony, who had allegedly been providing intoxicating capsules mainly to daily-wage labourers impersonating as private medical practitioners.
