In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government today transferred 12 IAS and five PCS officers.
Ravneet Kaur has been posted as new Special Chief Secretary, Labour, and also given additional charge of Special Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries. Vijay Kumar Janjua is the new Special Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner Revenue and Rehabilitation.
A Venu Prasad has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, in addition Chairman-cum-Managing Director, PSPCL, and Chairman-cum-MD, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd.
Alok Shekhar, Principal Secretary Medical Education & Research, has been relieved from the charge of Health & Family Welfare. Veerendra Kumar Meena has been posted as Secretary, Defence Services Welfare, in addition Secretary, Home Affairs, Justice and Jails; Vikas Garg, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Arun Sekhri as Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Pradeep Kumar Agrawal has been posted as Director, Social Security, Women & Child Development and in addition Special Secretary of the department. Vinay Bublani has been posted as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority, SAS Nagar, and in addition Director, Town & Country Planning.
Sanjay Popli has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and B Srinivasan as the Director General, School Education. Uma Shankar Gupta will join as the Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, and Additional MD, Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Ltd. — TNS
