Addressing the workers during a contact programme at Sanaur, he said, “There are 150 police officers, including eight SSP-rank officials, 25 SPs, 35 DSPs and 50 SHOs, who implicate innocent party workers of the Opposition on the directions of those in power.”

He said that such laws should be introduced where the accountability of officers should be fixed so that action could be taken against the erring officer for falsely implicating those aligning with the opposition parties.
