2 booked in Fazilka for employing children

Fazilka, February 27
Members of Task Force Committee of the Labour and Child Security Department conducted a raid on Chaudhary Dhaba in the local grain market and rescued two minor children who were doing labour on the dhaba.
Sources said when the team conducted checking, two children were found doing work in the dhaba. The team members handed over the children to their parents and cautioned them that if they were caught working in any shop in future they shall have to face the action.
Chander Singh and Rajinder Kumar, who are running the dhaba, have been booked under Section 3-A, 14, of the Child Labour Act and Section 75 and 79 of the Juvenile Justice Act.
