The Punjab School Education Department has directed conduct of a parent-teacher meeting (PTM) in all schools on November 2 and 3 to evaluate and further improve the education of students of classes I to XII.

A spokesperson for the School Education Department said during the meetings, the teachers had been directed to reach out to the students, their parents, panchayat members among others.

The aim is identify shortcomings to further improve the education of students. According to the spokesperson, emphasis would be laid on the Punjab Achievement Survey (PAC) during these meetings.

The survey, being conducted from November 11, would focus on ensuring participation and preparation of students.
