Two persons died and five were injured in three road mishaps in Fazilka and Abohar.

Jasbir Kaur of Guruharsahai died and her two children were injured when a truck carrying sand hit the two-wheeler they were riding near Sanjeev Chowk in Fazilka yesterday. A case was registered against driver Raj Kumar under Sections 106, 281, 125(A) and 324 (4) of the BNS. He was held but released on bail.

In another incident, Milkha Singh of Dhani Sukkad died yesterday after an unidentified van allegedly hit his bike near a school in Ladhuka on Fazilka-Jalalabad Road. A case was registered against an unknown driver.

Three persons, including Gursimran Singh of Fakarsar Theri, were injured when their car collided with a tractor-trolley that was carrying sand near the Abohar-Malout bypass yesterday. The injured persons were brought to Abohar Civil Hospital for treatment.
