Arresting two persons, the police claimed to have solved a murder case of a cab driver in the Makhu area on March 11.

In the incident, Sukhwinder Singh (40) was found murdered at the link road connecting Peer Mohammad and Ali Wala villages in Makhu. The accused who had hired the cab from Kot Ise Khan village killed Sukhwinder while on the way near Peer Mohammad village. The accused took away the cab (PB11Q 9890) after committing the crime.

“The cab stolen by the accused was found at Lambra Chowk in Ludhiana. During checking, the police recovered a uniform of a security company in Ludhiana, which led them to the accused,” SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena said. — OC
