Two persons out of three, who were named in the FIR registered at Sriganganagar under the NDPS Act on December 13 have been nabbed. They have been identified as Gurpreet Singh Monu and Gurjinder Singh Sonu of Chak Balochan Mahalam village in Jalalabad.

A team led by sub-inspector Alka Bishnoi had intercepted a car and a bike on the Netewala-Kaluwala bypass on December 13. The occupants of the vehciles had fled away, leaving behind 64 kg of poppy husk. However, the police was able to nab Vikram Singh. Now, only Tinku Bunty of Chak Balochan Mahalam village is at large. — OC
