A Punjab Police Head Constable and his companion were injured on Sunday near village Dangar Khera, 8 km from here, after their motorcyle collided with a tractor-trailer. Both of them were brought to the Abohar Civil Hospital and admitted for treatment.

Head Constable Raghuveer Singh was on his way from Fazilka to Abohar with Shammi, a tea stall vendor. When they reached near Dangar Khera village, the motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer, leaving Raghuveer and Shammi seriously injured. They were brought to the hospital here in an ambulance. City-1 police official Bhupinder Singh reached the spot and started investigation.
