Two children were injured in separate kite-flying accidents on Tuesday evening in Abohar. Both were rushed to the Civil Hospital, where one remains in critical condition.

Anmol (12-year-old, son of Raj Kumar) and Anmol (son of Kashmiri Lal), residents of Anand Nagari, were flying kites on the rooftops of their homes when they lost their balance and fell. One of the children, Anmol (son of Kashmiri Lal), suffered serious injuries and was referred to Faridkot after receiving first aid at the Civil Hospital. The other child, Anmol (son of Raj Kumar), sustained deep head injuries and wounds on various parts of his body and is currently being treated at the hospital.

In a separate incident, a 6-year-old boy named Divanshu from Amarpura village near Abohar suffered severe injuries after falling into hot water while flying a kite in his family’s courtyard. The child fell into a pot of water being heated on a furnace, resulting in burns to both his legs. He was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital in Abohar for treatment.
