2 officials booked after farmer dies by suicide

He reportedly left a suicide note blaming the officials for failing to transfer the connection to his name despite completing all formalities.Those booked have been identified as retired SDO Ravinder Singh and SDO Mahinderpal Singh.
Meanwhile, some farmer leaders had yesterday warned that the body would not be sent for post-mortem until action was taken against the officials.
