The police claim to have arrested two serial killers, who have reportedly admitted to having committed four murders in Fatehgarh Sahib and Ropar districts.

The suspects were identified as Satpal Singh, alias Kala, of Sangrur and Sonu, alias Gujjar, of Uttar Pradesh. They have been booked under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC.

The accused were presented in court and sent to police remand. “During interrogation, the accused confessed to have murdered four persons in Ropar and Fatehgarh Sahib districts,” the SSP said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
