The police said about 25,000 litres of Lahan were found packed in 30 drums and other containers that had been dumped around the canal in the Tootwala-Panjawa Mandal area close to the interstate boundary.

The Excise Department Inspector, Nirmal Singh, the Khuian Sarwar police station in-charge, Sunil Kumar and Hindumalkot police station officials, along with commandos, carried out the operation and seized distillation equipment and other items.
