In a joint operation, the Bikaner Excise Department team, the Khuian Sarwar police and the Hindumalkot police today used a JCB machine and other equipment to seize Lahan (raw material used to produce liquor) around the

Gang Canal.

The police said about 25,000 litres of Lahan were found packed in 30 drums and other containers that had been dumped around the canal in the Tootwala-Panjawa Mandal area close to the interstate boundary.

The Excise Department Inspector, Nirmal Singh, the Khuian Sarwar police station in-charge, Sunil Kumar and Hindumalkot police station officials, along with commandos, carried out the operation and seized distillation equipment and other items.
