Jalalabad police claimed to have nabbed three drug peddlers and seized one kg heroin, bike and mobiles from their possession.

Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a barrier on a T-point on Bahmniwala road in Jalalabad town and arrested Balwinder Singh, alias Bohra, resident of Fattuwala village, Baljit Singh, alias Kala and Ashok Singh, alias Goshi, both residents of Mohar Jamsher village of Fazilka district.

According to the FIR, the accused were travelling on a bike from Bahmniwala village to Jalalabad town allegedly to sell heroin.

On search, police seized one kg heroin, one bike and three mobile phones from their possession. They have been booked under Sections 21, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act in Jalalabad city police station.
