3 divisional commissioners transferred in Punjab administrative reshuffle

In all, eight officers — seven IAS and one PCS — were transferred.
Ropar Divisional Commissioner Gurpreet Kaur Sapra has been replaced by Manvesh Singh Sidhu; Faridkot Divisional Commissioner Manjit Singh Brar has been replaced by Arun Sekhri, while the charge of Jalandhar Divisional Commissioner has been taken from Sekhri and given to Ramvir.
At the top level, Additional Chief Secretary (Local Government) Tejveer Singh has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary (Technical Education). He was recently given an NOC by the state government for a central government posting. Manjit Singh Brar replaces him as Administrative Secretary (Local Government).
Meanwhile Rubinderjit Singh Brar has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary (NRI Affairs), Sonam has been given additional charge of Joint Commissioner Patiala MC and Jagdeep Saigal has been given additional charge of AMD of PSIEC.
