A police team, led by Sub-Inspector Kashyap Singh, sent a decoy customer after receiving a tip-off that oxygen cylinders were being sold at exorbitant prices to relatives of Covid patients on life support.

The DST arrested Deepak Valmiki (40), Rajwinder Singh (39) and Sunil Kumar (25) as they allegedly charged Rs 2,500 for a cylinder, whereas the Rajasthan Government had fixed its price at Rs 340. The gang members were carrying 19 cylinders on a vehicle. — OC
