Ferozepur, February 15

Three youths reportedly died in a road accident which took place late this evening near Khadoor village here. The incident took place when the car, which was going towards Zira, hit the wall of a marriage palace situated near village.

Following the incident, three youths Jugraj Singh of Dhoba village in Amritsar district, Gurkirat Singh of Chotepur village in Gurdaspur district and Vanshdeep of Tibbari village in Gurdaspur died on the spot while three other were injured. The injured have been identified as Gurman Singh, Harsh and Arshdeep Singh, all residents of Gurdaspur area.

The injured were sent to a hospital. The police had informed family members of the deceased. “During investigation, it has come to the fore that one of the tyres of the car had burst due to which the driver lost control of the car”, said he.
