A total of 321 nominations have been filed for 52 zones of the Kharar, Derabassi, and Majri Panchayat Samitis in Mohali district, marking the end of the nomination process. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Sonam Choudhary, 22 nominations were received yesterday, and 299 were filed today.

Seventy-eight nominations have been filed for the 15 zones of Kharar Panchayat Samiti, 94 nominations have been received for the 15 zones of Majri Panchayat Samiti, and the 22 zones of Derabassi Panchayat Samiti have received a total of 149 nominations. Scrutiny of nominations will be on December 5, and candidates can withdraw valid nominations by December 6, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner Sonam Choudhary.
