The third batch of primary school teachers will soon be sent to Finland to learn modern teaching practices, said Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Saturday.

He said this interacting with teachers of Patiala as part of the government’s ‘Dialogue with Teachers’ initiative.

The session began with a two-minute silence in the memory of the seven children who died in a school roof collapse in Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

He credited the dedication and feedback of teachers for the improved performance and said that no union member had been victimised under the current regime.
