Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Sunday said students of government schools in the state had once again proved their prowess as 474 of them cleared the highly competitive National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) this year.

He said earlier 265 students from government schools qualified the JEE (Mains) while 44 cleared the JEE (Advanced) this year.

“The impressive performance of our students in competitive exams is a shining example of our government’s focus on quality education. The remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about the hard work of our students and the dedication of their teachers,” he added.
