In a remarkable achievement, 5-year-old Teghbir Singh from Ropar in Punjab has become the youngest Asian to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

Teghbir’s determination and resilience have inspired many, with DGP Punjab Police praising his achievement on X.

This feat is a testament to Teghbir’s unwavering spirit and serves as a reminder that age is no barrier to achieving greatness.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
