The Dhuri police have seized around 600 spools of banned Chinese string from two brothers and booked them under Section 223 of the BNS. Dhuri SHO Inspector Jasbir Singh said the seized Chinese string was worth around Rs 20,000. Those arrested were identified Deepak Kumar and Manav Kumar. They were, however, released on bail as the offence is bailable.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
