Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Munir were, however, later arrested. As per an FIR, all these inmates were caught consuming heroin at different places. They were later admitted to the drug de-addiction centre.
“The suspects admitted to ward number 3 of the de-addiction centre not only tried to escape from the lawful custody, but also scuffled with personnel, including me, when we tried to stop them from fleeing,” said Civil Hospital Chowki incharge Satpal Singh.
Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Munir had been re-arrested, he added.
