9 IAS officers transferred in Punjab

Punjab on Sunday transferred nine IAS officers.

These postings have been done on administrative grounds and will come into force with immediate effect.

Alok Shekhar, Additional Chief Secretary cum Financial Commissioner, Rural Development and Panchayats, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Jails, in place of Kumar Rahul, and in addition, Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, in place of Vikas Pratap.

Tejvir Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government, in place of Ajoy Sharma.

The other IAS officers given new postings are Ajoy Sharma, Rahul Tiwari, Kumar Rahul, Gurpreet Kaur Sapra, Dilraj Singh, Amit Dhaka and Pradeep Kumar.
