Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee PPCC) and Member of Parliament from Ludhiana, launched a scathing attack on CM Bhagwant Mann for his government’s continued arrogance and disregard for Punjab’s farmers.

Raja Warring strongly criticised CM Bhagwant Mann, accusing him of displaying arrogance and dismissive behaviour towards the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. He stated that rather than engaging in constructive discussions to resolve the farmers’ grievances, the government has resorted to conducting raids on the residence of farmer leaders. “This clearly reveals the Aam Aadmi Party’s role as a mere extension of the BJP, persistently betraying the trust and interests of Punjab’s farming community,” Warring remarked.

Exposing the shortcomings of the government, the PPCC chief emphasised, “For the last three years, the Aam Aadmi Party has utterly failed to fulfill the commitments it made to the people of Punjab. Their inability to govern is evident to all. Now, after facing a crushing defeat in Delhi, they are desperately trying to shift focus with half-hearted initiatives like their pretentious anti-drug campaign, which is nothing but a staged drama to deceive the citizens of Punjab.”
