AAP misleading people under guise of progress: Grewal
BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today accused the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) leaders of misleading the people under the guise of development.
He said AAP’s Delhi campaign has been symbolised by empty liquor bottles and water buckets scattered across the capital, reflecting corruption and mismanagement under its national convener Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership.
He said Kejriwal was out on bail for his involvement in the liquor scam and alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Delhi Jal Board.
He added that Kejriwal had hit a new low during the election campaign by making misleading and deceitful statements, which expose his pattern of political manipulation.
He also criticised Kejriwal’s hollow promise to pay temple and gurdwara priests similar to mosque clerics, calling it a deceptive move that the people of Delhi can see through.
Grewal expressed confidence that the people of Delhi have decided to reject the “AAPda” that has failed to deliver any social welfare project over the past 10 years.
