Abohar, July 31
The state government has advised all departments to implement the online e-office system to make their work efficient and transparent. The Abohar Municipal Corporation has taken the lead across the state as they have implemented the e-office system.
The MC Commissioner, Dr Senu Duggal, said the e-office portal has been implemented at the office to ensure that the public’s work would be done within the stipulated time.
She said over 50 employees were working at the MC office, and each department has been provided with a login ID and password to use the e-office. She said the MC officials would be able to view complaints and applications on the online portal, and they would be able to forward them to the department concerned for redressal.
The DC said every departmental officer should dispose of applications from their e-office account on time, and negligence in the work would not be tolerated. She said the e-office would save a lot of time and make it easier to maintain records.
