Abohar police have arrested 10 youths and recovered 12 stolen bikes and 20 mobile phones that were snatched or stolen in recent days.

The arrests were made by police teams led by officials Davinder Singh and Bhupinder Singh during blockades at various locations.

Among those arrested were Davinder Singh, Sahib Singh of Kothi Faiz, Pragat Singh of Chandigarh Mohalla, Subhash and Gopi Singh of Patrewala village, and Nishan Singh of Kandhwala Road, Abohar.

Police recovered 10 bikes and 20 mobile phones from these suspects.

In a separate operation, another police team arrested Vijay Kumar of Dayal Nagari, Kuldeep Singh of Idgah Basti, and Yogesh and Ajay of Jammu Basti, recovering two additional stolen bikes.

A case has been registered against the suspects under Sections 303 (2) and 317 (2) of BNS. Authorities have advised anyone whose bikes or mobile phones were recently stolen to visit the City-1 police station to check the recovered items.
