Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa today said by eulogising PM Narendra Modi and the BJP, Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia had proved the Akali-BJP were hand in glove.

In a statement, Randhawa said by praising the BJP, Majithia had made it clear the Akali-BJP pact was still intact and the Akalis’ gimmick on the farm laws was aimed at misleading people.

Randhawa reminded Majithia he was not a “freedom fighter” and was facing serious charges of drug smuggling. He said the Akali leader seemed to have forgotten the court had not yet exonerated him. —
