All Zero Hour questions to be answered: Punjab Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan
Chandigarh, June 22
For the first time, Punjab legislators will get answers on all issues that they raise during the debates in the Vidhan Sabha during the Zero Hour.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said the answers would be given later in writing to the MLAs who raised the issues. “We are trying to ensure that one day prior to the session, all MLAs who want to raise issues give these in writing to the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat. On each day, 20 of these issues will be taken up for discussion in Zero Hour,” he said.
Sandhwan said each day the issues to be taken up would be decided through a draw of lots.
It may be mentioned that answers are given by ministers to questions raised only during the Question Hour.

run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any
bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and
partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense
of the term.
The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
