Hargobind, who is also the president of the Istri Akali Dal, outlined the union’s key demands, which include halting the supply of substandard rations to anganwadi centres, releasing employee arrears, and doubling the honorarium. She also called for the reinstatement of her services, which were terminated by the government. “I will continue my fast until all these demands are addressed,” she said.
