Abohar, July 31
Thieves targeted the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Patel Park last night and made away with goods worth thousands of days after unidentified miscreants targeted the Aam Aadmi Clinic near JP Park in Nai Abadi and decamped with electrical equipment and faucets.
The city police reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Patel Nagar residents said last Monday another such clinic was burgled in Nai Abadi, and it seemed that after burgling several government schools, the miscreants had switched their attention to the Mohalla clinics for the lack of night watchmen. The residents said CCTV cameras needed to be installed in the area as this was the second incident of theft. They said the administration was yet to wake up from its deep slumber.
Clinic incharge Dr Sandeep said when he reached for duty today, he saw the locks of the rooms were broken. He said two geysers and a water dispenser were missing from the bathroom. The staff has urged the police to crack the case to restore their faith in them.
