Another Punjab farmer died at the Tikri border on Friday night.

He had been staying near the Sector 9 Community Centre in Bahadurgarh town.

He has been identified as Sukhvinder Singh (45) of Token Kalan village of Ludhiana district.

Dr Sanjay Dahiya, Civil Surgeon, said Sukhvinder was brought dead to the Trauma Centre in Bahadurgarh. The exact cause of death would be ascertained after the post-mortem that would be conducted later on Saturday, he added.

Two farmers from Punjab have died during the ongoing farmers’ protest at the Tikri border in the past two days.  A 75-year-old farmer from Moga district died on Thursday.
