In protest against the controversial agricultural laws passed by the central government, arhtiyas in Punjab will halt business from January 25 to 27.

Arhtiya Association president Anil Nagori said a meeting of the 31-member executive committee of the Federation of Arhtiya Association, Punjab, was held through videoconferencing under the chairmanship of state president Vijay Kalra of Makhu.

It has been unanimously decided that arhtiyas should suspend business for three days beginning January 25 in support of the farmers’ tractor rally.
