Army sets up 50-bed Covid facility in Sriganganagar
Abohar/Sriganganagar, May 21
The Army’s Sudarshan Chakra Division dedicated a 50-bed hospital to citizens in Sriganganagar, to combat the Covid surge. The facility was inaugurated on Friday by Zakir Hussain, District Magistrate. The Army has assured all possible assistance to the state to fight the pandemic.
The level-2 Covid facility will provide care, including oxygen, to the patients of Sriganganagar and adjoining areas. Army doctors and paramedical staff have set up the facility with the assistance of district officials and the Jan Sewa Hospital. The Army will provide dedicated medical staff and equipment to fight the pandemic. Ambulance services will also be provided to the patients. — OC
