Attari, August 3

Bibi Rajinder Kaur, a resident of Muhawa village in Attari, who took active part in the farmers’ protest at Delhi borders, died last night.

She was 86. Her health got deteriorated at the Singhu border on August 2. She was rushed to a hospital in Sonepat, where she breathed her last. After postmortem, her body was shifted to her native village and cremated this evening. She had actively participated in the farm agitation since July 28.

Dr Satnam Singh Ajnala, Kabal Singh Muhawa, Pargat Singh Jamarai, Rattan Singh Randhawa demanded the government to compensate one of her family members with a government job and financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh.
