Finance Minister Harpal Cheema today directed tax officials to personally reach out to firms that have yet not availed the benefits of One-Time Settlement (Amendment) scheme (OTS-3).

Urging the traders to apply by August 16, Cheema asked officials to reach out to the remaining 11,130 dealers who missed the June deadline. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
